Derek was born in Fort Collins, Colorado. For college, he traveled a whopping five hours away to attend Colorado Mesa University, where he earned a degree in Finance. He subsequently worked in finance for the next seven years.
Outside of working at Austin Capital Mortgage, Derek enjoys fishing, hunting, and golfing – he’s a true outdoorsman.
